Groucho-Marx-and-Alice-CooperI did toy around with the idea of doing a cook-book.  I remember discussing it with Alice Cooper over lunch. He was all for it, but then he’s for almost everything. I told him that the recipes were to include all the usual suspects: how to make dry toast, instant coffee, lemon Jello, hearts of lettuce and brownies. But as an added attraction, at no extra charge, my idea was to put a fried egg on the cover, and for my featured section to be a collection of my very favorite drink recipes.  I think a lot of people who hate literature but love fried eggs would buy it if the price was right.
